I didn't start in SEO. I started in marketing — the kind where you're wearing twelve hats, building campaigns from scratch, writing copy at midnight, and figuring out analytics before your morning coffee. I've worked in B2B SaaS, run marketing for companies serving niche industries, and built websites from Squarespace to fully custom HTML/CSS.
What kept coming up, in every role, was SEO. It was always the highest-ROI channel — the one that kept delivering long after the campaign ended. And specifically, local SEO for businesses serving their communities.
I also run Pro Form Metals, a custom metal fabrication shop here in Reno. So I'm not just a marketer who talks about small business challenges — I live them. I understand tight budgets, seasonal fluctuations, and the need for marketing that delivers real results, not just reports.
Pine & Pixel was born from a simple frustration: too many Reno-Tahoe businesses were getting sold bloated agency packages that didn't fit their budget or their market. I wanted to offer something different — one expert, direct access, custom strategy, real results.
